Sealed Beam Corvair Repair offers general repair services for 1960-1969 Chevrolet Corvairs! After restoring my 1963 Monza, I found that my skills can be used to help keep other cars on the road. I am able to come to you for small jobs, but can also tackle more involved work here in Stillwater, MN. I charge a very reasonable flat rate for most work.

Tuning_
Carburetor Rebuilds
Includes: Remove and disassemble carburetor(s), thoroughly clean with ultrasonic cleaner, check passages, adjust float level, check & replace jets as needed, reassemble, check timing, balance and tune carbs.
Maintenance_
Brakes
Includes: Check and adjust front and/or rear brake shoes. Check brake fluid condition and level. Check brake hose condition. Adjust parking brake as-needed. Can also install brake lines, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, and more.

Wheel Bearings
Rear Includes: Remove brake drums, inspect brakes, remove axle shaft, inspect & grease U-joint, remove old bearing, press new bearing onto shaft, reassemble. "Core" service available.
Front Includes: R&I front brakes, repack wheel bearings, replace wheel seals, preload bearings.
Maintenance_
Tune Up
Includes: New spark plugs, points, condenser. Inspect cap and rotor. Inspect air and fuel filter(s). Check and adjust carburetor tuning, ignition timing. Check exterior lighting and replace bulbs as needed. Oil change available.
Repair_
Clutch Replacement
Includes: Remove & inspect drive train, replace clutch assembly and throw-out bearing, lubricate all fittings, replace engine & transmission mounts as needed, reinstall, and adjust clutch.
